Day 21 of 21 Days of Prayer: Why You Want to Pray and Read the Bible Daily!

Congratulations to those of you who have participated in and finished 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting! Hopefully, by now, you have developed a disciplined time of prayer and Bible reading that you will continue throughout the rest of this year. Unquestionably, this one practice will certainly elevate your life to a new level. Prayer and reading, as well as studying the Bible should always be the first thing we do, not the last resort. Because when you pray and read the Bible you are gaining insight, strength, and focus for living every day dedicated to God and directed by the Holy Spirit.

Here’s some more reasons why you want to continue the discipline of daily prayer and Bible-reading/studying:

It will reinforce your faith.
It will renew your mind.
It will be a resource for daily life situations.
It will restore your soul, strength, and spirit.
It will help you resist temptation.
It will relieve burdens, stress, and anxiety.
It will reveal God’s will.

Daily prayer and Bible reading is more than a good habit; it’s life-giving!
