Christmas is all about the biggest move that God ever made- “MARY’S IMMACULATE CONCEPTION” and Jesus’ birth!  The BIGGER TRUTH is that Jesus came to BIRTH MIRACLES in all of us!!

Think about Christmas regarding HOW God plans to make HIS NEXT BIG MOVE- YOUR “MIRACLE” through conceiving the vision for it, nurturing the hope for it, and giving birth to the miracle/dream you’ve longed for but may have never thought possible.

WE CAN ALL USE A MIRACLE… WHAT’S YOURS?  This 3-part series will explore the possibilities of the miracle God may have in mind for your life, as well as provide you with the practical application you need for experiencing it!

Luke 1:26-27 26 In the sixth month of Elizabeth’s pregnancy, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a village in Galilee, 27 to a virgin named Mary. She was engaged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of King David.

THE KEY: “The Mary Miracle” is a picture of what God wants to do with all of us!  God wants to do a “miracle” in your life, in your family, in your relationships, in our church… God wants to take the “impossibility” you can’t believe, or could never imagine as a reality, and make it “possible!”

Luke 1:37 “For nothing is impossible with God!”  Luke 18:27  He replied, “What is impossible for people is possible with God.”  Eph. 3:20 “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us…”

So, YES, this could be your moment for your miracle!  Perhaps you need a physical miracle, or a financial one, or something relational, or a dream that’s been derailed for whatever reason??

Perhaps you’re already “pregnant” with your miracle… and have been for a long time!

A “pregnancy” is the ultimate analogy.  Everything in life is like it.  As with a pregnancy, everything in life starts with a “possibility” and proceeds to “reality.”  The pattern of “conception-to-delivery” is rooted in the founding fundamentals of God’s operational order of things.  And giving “life” to anything is always a miracle!

That’s why all miracles, dreams, visions, always start with “getting pregnant” and expecting more than you thought possible!  That’s why a “Mary” AND a “Mark can be pregnant!

How do you conceive your miracle?  What does the “conception-to-delivery” process look like in your life?  CHRISTMAS REMINDS US THAT…

GOD COMES INTO YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES!

“GOD SENT the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a village in Galilee…”

Have you ever asked– “God, do you even know where I’m at right now?”  “Do you even see my situation?”  God, do you understand the circumstances of my life?”

God knows your address!!  God knows the details of your life!!  He KNOWS WHERE YOU ARE AND WHAT YOU NEED!  Those difficult, tough, or problematic things that invade our homes, work, family, minds, and habit have a way of taking over, of dictating and restricting our lives.

Too readily we submit to them, supposing “this is how I guess it’s supposed to be!”  But God is ready to bring you through and beyond your “controlling or limiting” circumstances!!

God sent the angel TO Mary’s “LOCATION!”  We can all learn from this that God sends his promise directly into our circumstances!  KEY: It doesn’t matter where you are.  It only matters that GOD is WHO he is and WHAT He is capable of doing!  

I know that the emphasis is always on how YOU HAVE TO GO TO GOD– but “Christmas” and Mary remind us of how GOD COMES TO YOU!  He shows up in YOUR OBSCURITY.  He shows us in YOUR OVERWHELMING CIRCUMSTANCES.  Your life, regardless of your “situation” (think of why God sent his son) is GOD’S OPPORTUNITY to do a MIRACLE!

Maybe you’re exactly in a place right now, in a “MOMENT” where it’s a CALL to permit HOPE and EXPECTATION in your heart…

God showed up in Moses’ circumstances and used him to miraculously save a nation.  God showed up in Jeremiah’s circumstances and reminded him he was called to be a prophet before he was formed in the womb.  God showed up in Gideon’s circumstances, the least tribe, least clan, least family, least son, and used him to deliver his people.  God showed up in Rahab’s circumstances, a prostitute, and because of her faith, saved her and her family… God showed up in a woman’s life who had exhausted her options with the doctors, but is healed by Jesus…

God showed up in Mary’s life… God knows where you are and what you need!  

So STEP #1: INVITE God into YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES- that’s WHERE and WHEN your MIRACLE is CONCEIVED!

YOU ARE POSITIONED FOR A MIRACULOUS POSSIBILITY!  Something that will take God to do it!!

“…TO A VIRGIN named Mary.”

We all know how a baby is conceived… Yet, without any intimate relationship, Mary became pregnant with the Son of God!  Perhaps this occurred in the consistency of how God does what he does…

God SPEAKS his WORD!  He “sends” and “sows” into our lives…

Genesis 1– The world, creation, you, me exist because “GOD SAID!”  “Let there be light…”  “Let there be water…”  Let there be land…”  “Let there be man and woman…”

God sent his Son into the world in a way that seems impossible according to human standards… BUT, throughout history, through the prophets, GOD SAID he would do it!  God had already SENT and SOWED THE SEED- HIS WORD!  

Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.

Because God SAYS IT, SENDS IT, AND SOWS THE SEED OF HIS WORD is WHY the WHAT that seems IMPOSSIBLE is made POSSIBLE!

Isaiah 55:8-11 “My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord.  “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.  9 For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.  10 “The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth.  They cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry.  11 It is the same with my word.  I send it out, and it always produces fruit.  It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.”

Do you see that?  Did you hear that?  God SPEAKS/SENDS/SOWS his WORD!  It ALWAYS produces fruit.  It will ACCOMPLISH all God WANTS it to.  It will PROSPER EVERYWHERE GOD SENDS IT!!

You can and will conceive a miracle anytime you RECEIVE THE SEED OF GOD’S WORD into your IMPOSSIBLE SITUATION!!  A “virgin” cannot have a baby unless she has sexual relationship; which means she is no longer a virgin… OR, if a SEED is IMPLANTED in her womb!!  Don’t miss this!!  God IMPARTS the SEED OF THE WORD into YOUR SITUATION!!

What is God SPEAKING to you?  What has God already SPOKEN to you?  Like Mary, do you HEAR what God is saying??

WHAT’S THE DREAM, MIRACLE, IMPOSSIBILITY HE’S IMPARTED TO YOU??

There are PROMISES God wants to BRING TO you!  They concern areas of need, hope, or longing, where God’s power and grace are needed!

These are PROMISES God wants to GROW IN you!  As you receive God’s WORD and consider the possibility that nothing is too hard for God!

These are PROMISES God wants to WORK THROUGH you!  As you humble yourself, submit to God’s grace and dependency on his provision and power!

These are PROMISES God wants to use to CHANGE THE WORLD AROUND you!  Your family, your relationships, work, community, church, city, circumstances…

STEP #2: ASK God to SPEAK to you in this SEASON of your life, to SEND and SOW his Word into the SITUATION you find yourself in.  

PRAY: “God, send me your word for my life.  I’m open to receive it.  Sow it into my life and situation!”  Your MIRACLE happens because of what God SAYS!!

God’s redemptive “promise” was brought to Mary to grow in her, to be delivered through her, and to change the world around her.  And so it can be with your miracle!  Where life or love, hope or strength, promise or patience have disappeared, or never been present at all- God comes to offer “The Mary Miracle!”

KEY: You “qualify” for your miracle not because of a self-accomplished goodness, but because you are simply open to a God-appointed grace!  God knows where you are and what you need.  God is speaking, or has already spoken into your life!  

INVITE God into your circumstances!  RECEIVE what God is speaking into your life!  CONCEIVE your MIRACLE!
